Hello,

My name is Jeri Harlan and though I am probably not the person you are looking for, I thought maybe, just maybe you could help us, or send us in the right direction. So let me say upfront, please forgive my intrusion.

I have an 18 month young Chihuahua, Isabella, who is said to be dying. She has been diagnosed with Hydrocephalus (Water on the Brain). The Doctor's say she could not survive surgery, she is 3 pds and very weak.

My husband and I have been advised to "put her to sleep", to kill her. I oscillate between what to do and am just torn up about it. What gives me the authority to make that kind of decision? We certainly don't kill people when they are ill and/or dying.

It's difficult for me to stay neutral or "out of fear" to let the miracle occur. And even death can be a miracle. Austin is one of the healing Mecca's in the world. I know I can find a great deal of healing support here. When I worked at Optimum Health years ago, I saw some of the most amazing healings; it took my breath away. http://www.optimumhealth.org/optimumhealth/aboutus/aboutus.htm

Even though Isabella needs a different form of care, it's all the same idea. I have no fear of death or of her dying. I even talked to her about doggie heaven and the freedom she will experience. And, this isn't about me not wanting to let her go. I'll miss her terribly of course, but - this is hard to explain to most people - and then again I wouldn't even try, but this is about "us" , Isabella and I. It's a journey we are on together. I will do everything I can to make her as comfortable and loved as possible, all the while seeking and receiving outside help. Whatever the out come is, I know we both will have gained a great deal from the experience. I guess it is just something that can't be put into words.

I just need to find the right person to help us, to add to our obvious lack of faith.

Can you help us or do you know of anyone that can?

Sincerely,
Jeri Harlan

Hello Jeri,

Looks to me like you have pretty strong faith and also good sense - both common sense and spiritual sense.

To say someone doesn't have enough faith when they are ill or unable to change the course of illness of another being (2 or 4 legged) is to presume that we know better than the Infinite Source.

Animals often respond very well to healing. Healing may make them better physically or better by easing their passing on. This is true of humans too.

Not all healers work on animals.

Healing by prayer or meditation from a distance can work just as well as healing by touch.

The group I recommend for distant healing is in England.

I believe they will send healing to animals too.

Please let me know the results of your search for healing for Isabella.

May I share your questions and my responses in my Blog? If yes, do you give me permission to use your name, or would you prefer that I use another name, to preserve your anonymity?

Blessings

Dan

Dear Dan,

Thanks for the reply, kind words of comfort and support and information concerning the group in England. I will be contacting them.

You may use any of my information on your blog. We would be honored. I have even attached a picture of Isabella.

Isabella made a turn for the best @ 2:57am Thursday morning. It was such an obvious moment for both of us. We got up an celebrated in our kitchen with my husband and our other dog, Mavric. Isabella eat like there was no tomorrow! She had four syringes of food, plus two of water. She then when outside and walked around the yard a bit. She was not eating or able to walk before this.

She is still weak, she still has pain, but she is working so hard to get better. I credit God and all the prayers that are being said for her. I am humbled by the outpour of love and concern that has come her way. Our way. We have also had a session with two animal physics, one in Washington and another here in Austin. They both brought great insight into what was going on with Isabella and what she needed from us. We are all so deeply grateful.

I will keep in touch and let you know my experience with the group in England. I am sure it will be wonderful.

Much Blessings and Appreciation, Jeri Harlan

IJHC - WHR Observations

Sometimes people and animals respond to wishes or prayers for healing, getting better in the same way that they would if a trained healer offered healing. Everyone has a measure of healing abilities.

Another possibility is that they respond when the intent to request healing is made, prior to the healer receiving the request, but apparently in response to the healer's sending healing.

Blessings

Dan
