Re-restarting blogging -- benorwholisticblog.com --

Relocating to a new country can be more challenging and taxing than one might imagine!

I'm truly enjoying living in a small city near Toronto. I find people friendly, willing to lend a hand to help, and open to wholistic concepts and approaches. For instance, there is a much higher awareness of and concern for environmental issues on this side of the border.  All garbage is sorted into recyclables, compostables, and candidates for landfill. This means that everyone has 3 color-coded garbage bags to put out for collection.

I'm working hard to promote the diploma courses in Wholistic Psychotherapy and the Level 1 WHEE workshop that will start on March 22. I've had excellent students coming to register for the course, and am looking for a few more to join.

I am very happy to be returning to a practice of Wholistic Psychotherapy, which is what I trained to do many years ago, when psychiatry was all psychotherapy. Likewise, I'm really pleased to not be prescribing medications, but teaching ways for people to understand and heal themselves.

Winter started late, with little snow till January. I've taken up cross country skiing. Lovely to be out in quiet woods with white all around, and crisp, clear air.

Hoping your winter is as heartwarming as mine is turning out to be,

Blessings

Dan
